Yes, you snipped out the links to the sources I provided.  THey are:
http://nces.ed.gov/nationsreportcard/science/results/internetuse.asp 
from the National Center for Educational Statistics
and
http://www.census.gov/prod/2001pubs/p23-207.pdf 
The Census 2000 report on Internet Use in the homes by a variety of different 
factors, including race and income.

You can't get more official statistics than these two places.
