Nominations for Global SchoolNet's Online Shared Learning Award Deadline
January 28, 2004

We want to give away $7,500 -- PLUS two all-expense paid trips to NECC 2004
in New Orleans this June 20-23, 2004!

But, we need your help to find deserving educators!


Awards are presented in TWO categories:

=>RECENT ADOPTERS (having up to four years experience). This award includes
a cash gift of $2000 and an all-expense-paid trip to NECC 2004 in New
Orleans June 21-23, 2004.

=>PIONEERS (having more than four years experience) This award includes a
cash gift of $4000 and an all-expense-paid trip to NECC 2004.

=>PLUS, ten finalists each receive a check for $250 and a special award
plaque.

GSN's Online Shared Learning Award recognizes global teaching champions from
around the world ­ both new comers and pioneers.

If you know an educator who qualifies for our Online Shared Learning Award,
please take a moment nominate them now!  please nominate them by January 28,
2004.

Since 1984 the Global SchoolNet Foundation (GSN) has been a leader in
demonstrating and promoting online shared, or collaborative, learning.
Today, GSN continues this tradition by instituting the annual "GSN Online
Shared Learning Awards" to recognize current classroom teachers, media
specialists, and other school-based educators who have distinguished
themselves in the area of online shared learning. Qualified educators who
are nominated and selected will receive a cash award of $7,500 and an trip
to NECC in recognition of their dedication, leadership and hard work.
