I wish to inform you that a group of Italian teachers with the support of
the Italian Ministery of Education has announced a Contest about Multimedia
Poetry. This is an official invitation to participate.

XMEDIA COMPETITION
"MediaPoetry: Beats and Bits"
MULTIMEDIA POEMS

"The competition aims at awarding prizes to multimedia works characterized
by artistic value on the basis of the following observation:
in the same way as poetry is an expression and communication form which has
developed in our culture and represents states of mind, feelings and images
by means of words, multimedia poems
aim at representing and communicating states of mind and feelings in a free
web of texts, images and sounds (developed in the course of history or
innovative ones) by creating multimedia poetry."

The winners will be invited to Florence (Italy) for the award ceremony.
