Subject: Math Education Webliography and Other Resources
Hello from DC.
As many of you know I compile ResourceShelf, a daily update of library news,
search tips, and new resources.
Allow me to extend a personal invite to stop by whenever you have a chance.
http://www.resourceshelf.com
Here are two items that I'll be posting tomorrow.
Education--Webliography
Source: ISTL
Full-Text, "Mathematics Education Resources on the Internet"
http://www.istl.org/03-summer/internet.html
Btw, not mentioned in the article is the Mathline section of PBS.Org
* Mathline
http://www.pbs.org/teachersource/mathline/lessonplans/aboutvid.shtm
>From the site, This FREE professional development resource helps teachers
quickly and easily find standards-based Mathline video clips and lesson plans on
different mathematical topics and teaching techniques for grades K-12.
What's even cooler is that Mathline is keyword searchable. You can search every
word spoken in the video segments and then view them online. (Free).
On the health front, MEDLINEplus has just published one of their wonderful
compilations. This new resource focuses on teen mental health.

Again, please stop by ResourceShelf whenever you have a moment or two.
