Subject: Excellence in Science, Technology and Math Education (ESTME) Week

The Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) of the Executive
Office of the President is partnering with other U.S. Government agencies
and scientific societies to develop activities for this year's
"Excellence in Science, Technology and Math Education (ESTME) Week,"
March 16-22, 2003.

The activities during ESTME Week reach beyond the "pencil and paper"
aspects of education to bring students face to face with the opportunity
to discover and explore their world through math and science learning.
The exploration begins with activities for students, parents and teachers
presented by participating organizations.
