  The December 10 edition of Education Week magazine looks at the progress
  states have made toward meeting the testing and reporting mandates of No 
Child
  Left Behind.

  Although the annual state policy survey for the newspaper's Quality Counts
  report (to be released in January) found that every state and the District of
  Columbia now will rate schools based on "adequate yearly progress," it has
  found far less progress in other areas such as the number of states testing 
in
