C-SPAN in the Classroom is pleased to announce a new opportunity for a
select group of educators - the 2004 Curriculum Advisory Team! Learn

The advisory team will be comprised of eight educators from diverse
teaching backgrounds, who will work with C-SPAN in the Classroom's staff
to develop projects and resources pertaining to C-SPAN's 2004 Vote
(CAMPAIGNS & ELECTIONS) and
C-SPAN's 25th Anniversary of CONGRESSIONAL COVERAGE. Extensive experience
teaching with C-SPAN is not a requirement to apply.
Each selected advisory team member will work from January - December,
2004 and receive a stipend of $500. In addition, they will be
recognized on the C-SPAN in the classroom web site and receive $100 to
spend on videotapes at the C-SPAN Archives. Sample projects include
creating content for web-based lessons and activities, participating in
a focus group for evaluating a new resource, contributing to interactive
web features, writing a short article, or leading a local workshop.
