anymore and when the music was sung because it helped
people through it and sustained them.

Ralph Stanley Museum Curator Position
The Ralph Stanley Museum and Traditional Mountain Music Center is seeking
an executive director/curator. This is a wonderful opportunity to apply a
range of skills, including outreach and fundraising, exhibit programming,
and curatorial talents. The position will work directly with the Ralph
Stanley Museum Foundation and the board of directors. Minimum
requirements include demonstrated experience working in a nonprofit
organization, experience in museum operations, academic degree in museum
studies, folklore, musicology, history, or related field, and strong
written and oral communications skills. Management experience,
organizational skills and computer skills required. Starting salary $30 â??
35,000, including benefits. Applicants should send a statement of
