You'll forgive me if my manners slip a little during this post but I am to say the least a little pissed off.

I had chest pains at work today, and went to the ER like my doctor said. They did another EKG, a cardio panel bloodwork, hooked me to a heart monitor, etc. After a few hours they told me "You're very dehydrated. What idiot told you you had a heart attack you need to never see him again?"

I tell him my doctors name

"Oh, uh, he's a nice guy very thorough I'd stay with him. Go ahead and keep your appointment with the cardiologist."

I go see the Cardiologist

"This is it? This is what you're here for? You're fine, I won't bother charging you for the visit since there's nothing wrong with you. Since you're diabetic and overweight I'll do a stress test to make sure, but you're okay right now."

I should probably mention I don't have insurance. So while I may be okay for now unless the stress test indicates artery blockage, I'm probably going to owe a few grand in medical bills.
