"A Smorgasbord of Forensic Cases"
Abstract
There are two key elements in conducting a forensic investigation. One of
them is, as Sherlock Holmes has stated, asking the right questions. The
second is providing a clear, logical, and understandable explanation, and
testimony, so that laypeople can understand what is going on. Dr. Richman
will post a list of sixteen interesting cases (see list below) and will
invite the audience to select the cases about which they would like to
hear. His presentation includes audience participation: he will ask the
audience questions, as well as entertain questions from them.
[Dr. Richman describes himself as a generalist. He practices in all areas
of forensic science where tcommon sense, the ability to ask the right
questions, and the physical sciences (including Engineering) may be
involved.]
