[neact] National Chemistry Week in the Northeastern Section

Hello Colleagues,
    Christine Jaworek-Lopes [jaworek@xxxxxxxxxxxx] has asked that we post
this information to the NEACT website, and place it in the Newsletter, so I
am also posting it here for ³complete³ coverage.
Her message:
The Northeastern Section of the American Chemical Society will be holding
a  kick-off event for NCW at the Wellesley College Science Center on
October 16, 2005 from 10 am - 4 pm.  Visitors will be able to participate
in a  number of hands-on activities and see demonstrations related to the
yearly theme "The Joy of Toys".  Also Dr. Bassam
Shakhashiri will be the guest speaker at the lecture-demonstrations held
on that day.   His lecture demonstrations are from 11-12 and 2-3 pm.   For

The NESACS will also be participating in a poster competition.  More info
should be coming on that.
