NEACT Scholarship Opportunities
to attend Chem Ed 2009
 

Since we will not hold a 2009 NEACT Summer Conference, NEACT would like to
support members who want to attend ChemEd 2009.

NEACT will provide up to 4 scholarships to NEACT members to cover the
registration cost ($275 per person) to attend this conference.

 

Persons who are awarded these scholarships will be required to spend time
promoting NEACT at the conference in a manner to be determined.

 

You are asked to provide (email or smail) the following information:
 
  a. Name, Address, email and home telephone number
  b. Number of years you have been teaching
  c. Present school, the courses you taught this year and the courses you
expect
 to teach next year
  d. Why you are a good candidate for a grant
  e. Suggestions on ways that NEACT can be promoted at the conference.
 
 
If there are more applicants than scholarships, preference will be given to
full time teachers currently active in the high schools.

If you are awarded the scholarship, you will be contacted by June 12.  NEACT
