Thanks Dianne.  We are so relieved for both of you that
John is improving!  Phew!  Will continue to keep you in
our thoughts and prayers and look forward to hearing
how things are when you have the time/energy.

Hi Judith,
   I hope this reaches you, because I forgot to add your email address to
the 
address book last time, and I don't know if what I recorded from the phone
is 
correct. Let's hope.
   John has made dramatic improvement in the last three days. They moved him

to a regular room on Thursday evening. Today he is talking and almost as 
clear-headed as usual; he walked quite a bit (but only with a nurse in 
attendance); he's eating regular (hospital) food; and his doctors have been 
talking about his going to rehab sometime soon. 
   Tomorrow I need to make contact with people who can bring me up to date
on 
the plan--a case worker, doctor, etc. who can answer John's questions and 
mine.
   I will keep you informed as he progresses, but I am feeling SO MUCH
BETTER 
than I did even last week when he finally started to wake up. Thanks for all

the thoughts and prayers.
