Hello
The Science national honor society at King Philip High School (Wrentham, Mass)
has raised a small sum of money (approximately $2000) and would like to
purchase an HPLC system (maybe with an RI and/or UV detector ) Presently one of
our students has been doing independent research in his junior year on
digestion of biomass and identification of resulting materials. If resources
permit, he could possibly continue his research in his senior year.
Sometimes systems may be available with a lab is to close, or when a new one is
purchased. Some vendors (for example, Perkin Elmer and/or Waters (Millipore) )
may retrofit and offer the system at a reduce costs for education or donations
for tax purposes of the older system. Do you know where we can find an HPLC
system for use in a public High School? Thank you, for you time. Sincerely,
Richard Boucher, Chemistry, King Philip Regional High School
