There are still some spaces open in the following courses. There is
an $800 stipend for the successful completion of the course,
including the academic year follow-up.

Integrating Trigonometry/Calculus into the Teaching of Middle School
Mathematics
DATES: July 21 - August 1, 2008
LOCATION: Holyoke Community College

Physical Science for Middle School Teachers
DATES: July 21 -- August 1, 2008
LOCATION: Western New England College

Graduate 3 credit option available through continuing education at
the University of Massachusetts Amherst for both courses.
Teachers can also receive 67.5 PDPs for this course and an additional
20 PDPs for the follow-up.

Courses have 4 required follow-up sessions during the 2008-09
academic year that must be completed in order to receive the $800
stipend.

Eligibility requirement:  teachers in Massachusetts schools;
priority given to teachers in high needs school districts.
