With March behind us and April showers imminent, the deadline for
submission of
workshop proposals for this year's conference has been extended.

Please submit your proposals byApril 7th
for your workshop to be considered
for the 2008 NEEEA Conference.

with "workshop proposal NEEEA 2008" in the subject line.  Call Ruth Smith
(603-783-4656)
or Wendy Schorr  (603-634-3315) with questions.
Proposals are due by April 7, 2008
and must contain all of the information below:
1. Your name
2. Your title and organization
3. Your mailing address
4. Your email address
5. Your phone number/s
6. Your workshop title
7. Presentation format (field trip, workshop, round table discussion)
8. Time block needed (1.5, 2, or 3 hours)
9. Set up/Break down time needed
10. Conference strand to which your presentation is most closely aligned
(Built
Community, Cultivating
Communities, Ecology of Communities)
11. Target audience who might be interested in attending (students,
educators, administrators,
grade level, etc.)
12. Workshop description, including how your workshop will address the
conference
theme, in 100 words or less please
13. Any special space requirements (AV equipment must be provided by
presenters)
14. Maximum and minimum number of participants
15. Name, phone and email address of someone who can serve as a reference
for your
abilities as a presenter
16. A description of your workshop in 50 words or less as it should appear
in the
conference brochure.
We welcome and encourage presenters to take advantage of our conference
workshops
and professional networking opportunities.  All presenters who plan to
participate
in the conference outside of their workshop time are required to register
for the
conference.  A $50 registration discount will be given to the primary
presenter
of a workshop.
