SET (Science, Engineering, Technology) in the City - A day of Career
Exploration for High School Girls
Saturday, June 13th, 2009
9 am - 6 pm
• Start the day at Boston University, visit Harvard or Wentworth, and end with
Omni show at the MoS
• Participate in hands-on science activities led by professionals
• Eat Lunch and Interact with women working in SET fields
• Learn about cutting-edge research that will change the world
• Find out how to prepare for careers in Science, Engineering & Technology
fields
ADMISSION: $5.00 will be collected at the door.
Sponsored by a collaboration of the following
organizations and institutions: Boston Museum of Science, Boston
University, Emmanual College, Girls Scouts of MA, Harvard University,
Science Clubs for Cirls, Simmons College & Wentworth Institute of
Technology.
Note: The program will
begin at Boston University’s Photonics Center and ends at the Museum of
Science. Bus transportation between venues will be provided during the
program. Continental breakfast & lunch are included.
