There's something about Metaxaglaea viatica that makes them really difficult to photograph. You have to aim at an angle from the head down to get their pattern to show up well when using flash. Then, in post processing, you'll need to stretch them back into shape. :-) Ken Childs Henderson, TN Chester County http://tinyurl.com/FinishFlagFarmsMoths http://tinyurl.com/Night-Creatures http://www.finishflagfarms.com ________________________________ From: Lori Owenby <loriowenby@xxxxxxxxx> To: ncsc-moths@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Sunday, January 8, 2012 9:47 AM Subject: [ncsc-moths] Two Sallows last night! I had a great night for moths last night! I am still delving through the rest of my photos but thought I'd go ahead and share these two as I am reasonably certain of their id's . . . but please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong! -- ----- Lori Owenby St. Stephens/Riverbend Park Ranger Catawba County Parks Conover, NC "The Constitution only guarantees the American people the right to pursue happiness.
