The Columbus project is modeled after the Portland one. Does anyone
know if the Columbus group has gotten anywhere? Last I looked at
their website it didn't look like any machines had been built or
people trained.

I've often though it would be great to have a place similar to the
Portland group in this area. The notion of people in Richland and
surrounding counties actually using a resource like this is what I
wonder about.

How many on this list know of someone that would donate their time
being trained to build a machine, then building x number of machines
to get a machine of this era?

The Portland group also then offers additional training on how to use
your new machine.

How much interest is there from this group on a project like this?
There would seem to be some similar aspects of this and the ToyTime
project. Training and any support seems to be a piece that is missing
from the later.

Mike
