[NCBI_ECDL_class] Some more updates for the ECDL class

Good morning everyone,
Just a couple more updates that you should be aware of.
Firstly, a reminder that class this week is on Wednesday and not Thursday. I
will not be here but Joe and Mary will be around.
Secondly, on the following Thursday, which is 22nd March, we will be visited by
Denise Leahy and Mary Cleary from the Irish computer Society (ICS). Denise and
Mary are visiting in order to discuss the thank you event I mailed you about
last week, which takes place on 19th April, but they would also like to use the
opportunity to say hello to the class, so they will be with us around 6:30 on
the Thursday evening, and I will bring them into class to say hi to everyone.
Finally, and also on the 22nd of march, Joe and I would like to mark Mary's
last official day working with us on the ECDL course. We are planning to get a
cake for Mary and would like if possible, to have a little celebration around
5:00 pm, just before class. If you can make it for 5:00 pm and join in some
cake and tea it would be great. I am also delighted to let you know that Mary
has very kindly agreed to stay on as a volunteer so we won't be saying good bye
to her, but we do want to acknowledge the wonderful work she has done since she
started working with our group, and as she finishes officially with NCBI at the
end of March to return to her work with Eircom, it seems an appropriate time to
do it.
If there are any other queries please either use this list or throw an email
towards Joe or myself and we'll be back to you immediately.
Thanks everyone, and I'll see you all for class on Thursday week, I hope this
Wednesday's class goes well for everyone.
