@Mark you should fork if you are unhappy and maybe leave the personal
insults aside. I don't how many of these kinds of projects you have managed
but I have managed a few and often you take a lot of shit, complaints, and
whining plus do a lot of extra work for little in return. Manage your own
fork if you don't like Garrett as BDFL it is a simple solution for all
concerned.

However, I will not take control of the project by fiat. In particular,
Dirkjan Ochtman needs to make a decision as he is the last person with
commit privileges to the github repo. Technically I still have admin
privileges, but I’d rather not act without his consent.
I’ll also state this — if there is a clear majority of opinions opposed
my taking this step, then I’ll decline to take the reins. I don’t wantto
be an unwelcome leader — I don’t love this project *that* much. So ifyou
are violently opposed (or in favor) please speak up. Once I *do* takethe
reins, I won’t be very likely to give them up again.
That said, if I do *not* take the reins, then I suspect the most likely
future for nanomsg is to whither and die.
To be clear, if you support my action, you *are* supporting a BDFL, so be
sure that a dictator is really what you want. You’ve been warned.
