Well, I haven't tested this yet, but in theory, all you'll need to do is start JACK, then start jack.plumbing. If you specify a portslist as source for a Nama track, Nama is supposed to automatically write ~/.jack.plumbing, which the jack.plumbing daemon will automatically re-read and connect the appropriate ports (provided they are available). Nama writes ~/.jack.plumbing according to the man page: (connect "this port name" "ecasound port name") > I've just bearly started looking at > Jack Plumbing last night. I wish I had tried it earlier! I didn't know about it either till Julien asked on the Linux Audio Users mailing list. We had a problem with the previous method (the jack_connect utility) taking a long time when there was a big list of ports to connect to. Best, Joel > Kevin -- Joel Roth
