Hi Massy,

Thanks for writing this! You bring up some good topics
for discussion.

One comment about documentation. Did you ever look
at the man pages? I worked hard to describe Nama's
underlying functionality.

Regions. I didn't get what you're looking for
in terms of managing larger projects. That could
be a low-hanging fruit to go after.

Automation. Perhaps this could be attainable, too,
with a reasonable programming effort, if we can
do it with Ecasound envelopes, and/or if we could
manage to record MIDI controller inputs.
Someone would need to plan it.

Edits. Will need a small fix.

Git. Should be fewer changes once I get some unnecessary
mutable data out of State.json. I think I'll throw it
all into a single file.

Backward compatibility. We have a complicated mapping
of old variables to new. I'd like to remove this
eventually, and remove other backward compatibility
hacks, to simplify codebase. Not immediately, but
just letting you know.

Perhaps, I'll reply to some of these issues on LAU.

Thanks again.
