Ah OK, well I think, that from my last mail you might have gathered, that I
very much agree with your proposals. I was already going to see, if you added
-m and -b to the help for save. :-)
Question: What about restore? How will we restore a certain "commit"? For a
start we might want a list facility:
list_commits or something to that effect. Hm, let's think about this: there
are two main categories of info there: tags and branches. I suppose, that tags
should be unique? If so, the user should be able to restore a commit from a
different branch with just one command, while Nama takes care to switch the
branch in the background automagically. So the list-command should have both
infomration on branches and tags, perhaps something like this:
branch: Master
raw_version
full_drum_heaven
current
branch: Electro
dub_king
extra_delay
current
I don't know, how the last version is called, when it's named automatically,
is that the HEAD?
Unforunately now my thread of concentration has broken completely. But I
think those were the major points. :-)
Telephone-interruptedly yours
Julien
