Thanks for the suggestion! I have to read up on this and take a closer
look at your patch before I can comment. As far as I understand it, one
has to run "xfs_freeze -f" prior to creating the snapshot, correct? I
somehow thought that there are kernel hooks between LVM and XFS that
perform this operation automatically - I have to do some research about
this first.
