Thanks a lot for your contribution! It took me a while, but I now applied
it to my source tree. I slightly modified it and changed the default location
of the hooks from /etc/mylvmbackup to /usr/share/mylvmbackup. The location can
be changed with the "--hooksdir" configuration option. The execution of all
hooks can be skipped by using "--skip-hooks".
It will be part of the upcoming 0.9 release, which I am currently preparing.
