I take it it's a special modem. I got a new modem with my new computer. One
video conferencing site I came across kept talking about iChat with AIM, but
I couldn't figure what the AIM stood for. Sounded like a PC software.
Problem is I don't care about sound, I'm only interested so I can see my
grandson. Search for video conferencing or video chat and you'd be surprised
what you get. Enough sites to last the life of the computer . . . if you
know what I mean.
Most of them complain about Mac inability to connect and hope Mac will
soon solve the problem. I should have done more research beforehand, of
course. Had I know I'd have bought a PC. jim
