[muglo] time for a new monitor?

my mac 15" multiscan has been acting weird... first is refused to 
work in 1024 x 768 mode, and now it is flashing pink pink pink 
everytime I use it, the pink stays abt 5% of the time, but it's 
annoying.. esp the flashing pink, flashing normal  pink normal pink 
normal

so, is it time to get a new monitor?
