Virtually all lists to do HTML stripping for damn _good_ reasons: 1. 95% of personally formatted HTML e-mail plain and simply looks bad (as I've ranted before, most people (me included) don't know their derriere from a hole in the ground when it comes to picking fonts, colours, etc.) (the only time I can agree with HTML in e-mail is if it doesn't force font face and size choices on people and makes wise and SPARING use of colours/bold); 2. it's often a source of problems (viruses, tracked images, etc.); 3. it's a source of extraneous junk (HTML code that doesn't get recognised as HTML code makes messages unreadable (unless you can read past HTML code very efficiently and few people have that talent)); and, 4. it adds to list traffic volume.
