battery works, holds a charge for about a week with daily use.

if you don't know what an emate is, well, it's like a laptop, but is 
also a pda. Better handwriting recognition than anything currently on 
the market. These are hard to find these days. Really useful for 
taking notes, writing, etc etc. You can print directly from the 
emate, or connect it to your mac/pc and transfer files to Word. Built 
in software includes word processor/spreadsheet/drawing, scheduler, 
contacts, etc. Built in keyboard and backlighting.
