I found that, at first, 9.1 wasn't much of an improvement over 9.0.4 (for a
long time I swore that was the problem), but, as I upgraded apps the initial
instability of OS 9.1 disappeared and it stabilised rapidly. OS 9.2.2 got
rid of the last of the major bugs I was still encountering with the older
versions.
It also seems (from fuzzy memory now) that updating to 9.2.2 from 9.1 (or
was that 9.1 from 9.0.4) fixed the annoying sound control panel problem.
Either way, 9.0.4, 9.1, and 9.2.2 are the most stable of the OS 9 series.
9.0.0-9.0.3, 9.2.0 and 9.2.1 are to be avoided at all costs!
