Are you sure it's a 400 Mhz, it sounds more like a 450.

BTW if you decide to upgrade; you will be amazed at the difference;
please let me know as I have a customer for your G4, currently
running $150-$200, which I anticipate local dealers offering $80-
$140. Not sure what monitor you are using, but most are easily sold.
