Hi Jim,
    Backup!!! The first rule of computer use. You need either a SCSI tape or
hard drive; internal or external, Zip drive, second hard drive, CD Burner, or
something similar to back up your Data on a regular basis, like every day, or
every week etc. Then you are only missing the data between backup dates.
    You don't need to backup the programme/s, just data, so the size of
backup device can be quite small.
    Get back to me if you need something to do this with, I have quite a few
inexpensive options, although these days I tend to lean to a CD Burner as the
most efficient, unless your needs are small. Many people can manage quite
well with a 40 Meg backup system.
