[muglo] proselytizing

I wonder if it would help build MUGLO gain more members, and help Mac
sellers sell more Macs, if we offered the latter some small attractive
standup ads to be placed in their Mac displays, proclaiming MUGLO's
existence as both a social network of like-minded people and a
continuing source of free and friendly technical advice.

It seems to me that Mac vendors might welcome these as a potentially
significant factor in their customers' decisions as to whether to
spring for Macs, settle for something lesser and cheaper elsewhere, or
just put the purchase off altogether.

From our point of view, it would put information about us out there
exactly where people would be in the most receptive possible moods to
note it down: when they're buying new machines and/or software and are
enthusiastic about them and anxious to get the most out of them.

It would be dirt cheap to produce a dozen or so attractive standup ads
(injet or laser printouts mounted on foam-core, each with a fold-out
tab to keep it upright, like a desk photo). Lord knows we've got plenty
of graphics talent in the group.
