Jim Hi Jim, your product number piqued my curiosity and I checked good ol' Google. It's a Canon i860 and you are fortunate -- it comes with five separate ink cartridges which means you only have to replace the colour that runs out (http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=SNAModelSuppliesAct&fcategoryid=824&modelid=9387). For on-line print supplies check out http://www.piloshop.ca (a Montreal-based company). My brother's been using Piloshop for a while now (for Epson) and I just ordered a batch of Epson cartridges (CX 7800) from there for a song! The black works well and I haven't had to replace one of the stock colour cartridges yet (and, I've been printing *A LOT* of colour of late*). For the i860 the black cartridge (for "text" printing) is $3.39 and the colour black cartridge (for "colour" printing) is $2.99 (as are the three other colours) <http://piloshop.ca/index.php?cPath=1_1045_104505_1005059>. Shipping is $6. *We just printed 70 full colour CD labels and 50 full colour CD jewel inserts (more to be printed tomorrow)... Veronica's in charge of creating the "yearbook" <ahem CD> for her school and I ended up being the "technical consultant" (for once my penchant for having more computer hardware than necessary came in handy... three burners going full tilt for a few hours ;-).
