That is excellent advice for getting rid of strange behavior in many Adobe
products. In the past I had GoLive 6 crash whenever I tried to make a FTP
connection after long frustrating time I was given that advice and it cleared
the problem instantly. I had an issue with Photoshop 7, it would not boot
past the flash screen, that was resolved by deleting the Preference file as
well. It does no damage as the program will write a new Preference file on
launch if it does no find one in the library.
