ADB = Apple Desktop Bus
resident on Macs before the inclusion of USB (Universal Serial Bus),
i.e., before the iMac
However, ADB was for keyboards and mice. The connector for Printers
and Modems was a slightly different pin configuration, and known as a
Serial connection. Unique to the Mac though.
