(no subject)

A problem. It usually starts when I log on to the net with my homepage
(dogpile) and continues in varying degrees.
Soon as page comes up I get a "Netscape Alert" The alert is usually a
"java script error" of some kind or another like line soandso is defined as
a no. . . . or some such cryptic nonsense. Sometimes I can just click OK
and it will disappear and I can continue. Sometimes it crashes the system.
I'm running Netscape 3.01 on my LC475. I should probably upgrade netscape
but I have no idea how. Another problem and it may be connected. Last year
my security program licence or whatever ran out so I can't go into secure
pages anymore. It was supposed to be easy to fix but I never figured it out
and since I don't go into secure page I figured what the heck. But it would
be nice to bring it up to date. Problme is, I don't really understand these
things. Any suggestions? Jim
