I downloaded the Netscape 7.0 PR 1 (whatever) for OS X & it seems much more
stable than NS 6.0 & 6.1 (even 6.2) when they came out, and it *actually*
feels fairly zippy. I think it's based off the Mozilla 1.0 release (haven't
really investigated) so it should behave similarly (without the ad/image
filtering :(.

I used it for a few minutes and it *didn't* crash (my standard for judging
whether a Netscrash or Mozilla release was ready for use -- *all* versions
post-NS 4.7.x have crashed on complicated pages in the first 5-10 minutes of
use :(.

It did have a problem in that when I closed the only open window it kept
throwing up an error when I tried to open any new window (at least it didn't
crash ;) -- it's definitely not worth the download if you're on a phoneline
(or even on a T3 for that matter). NS 6.2 and Mozilla 1.0 are more useful in
the end if you have a phobia of Opera, iCab, OmniWeb or Explorer.
