[muglo] Re: netconnect

Jim:

Go down to Radio shack, Future shop, etc. and tell
them you want a Router for a home network on Rogersby
a Router... should cost about $40.00 these days. Then
you can have as many computers on the internet as you
want (limited to the number of ports in the router).
You will have to run etnernet cable from the router to
each computer in the house unless you go wireless
(more for the Router and of course NICs or Ariport of
Mac) back no drilling holes and fishing for cable.
Before you plug the router in, call Rogers first and
ask them for your IP address. It's pretty easy to get
up and running and I'm sure you can get volunteer help
locally if you get stuck.

Rogers tries to pull this crap on everyone. You're
paying ONLY for the line coming into your home and you
you do with it once inside is your business, not
theirs.

Good Luck.
