Is she running Mac or Windows? Is she merely trying to connect to the
internet so she can visit her company's website, or is she trying to
connect to her company so that she can access her files/network
services?

If all she wants to do is connect to the internet, all she has to do
is connect to the Rogers modem -- take the ethernet cable that's
connected to the desktop hooked up to the Rogers modem and connect it
to your wife's ethernet port and see what happens. You may have to
turn on and off the Rogers modem and then restart your wife's computer
to get it to work.

If she wants to actually access her company's network (NOT the
internet site) then she will have to talk to her company's IT person.
In all liklihood they'll use something called VNC (virtual network
computing) that will allow her to connect *securely* to her company's
network and work as if she were in the office.

PS You say you have an ISP (dialup) for one of your computers and
Rogers for the other. Does this mean you're paying *twice* for
internet access? If that's the case, you can safely get rid of your
dial-up service and hook your other computer up to Rogers.

PSS ISP = internet service provider (Rogers, Bell Sympatico HSE,
Golden Triangle, AOL are all ISPs)... any company (or person) that
provides a conduit to the internet.
