I came across these comments addressing the issue of the unlit Wireless LED
on the 6520:
Those of you out there with this type of device, can you confirm that when
the wireless portion is turned on that the LED is illuminated?
The LED stays off until something connects into the wireless interface.
Get a laptop or something connected via it, it will soon light up.
Correct. The 6520 has the wireless turned on by default and the LED only
comes on when something has connected to it.
