Not sure what advice you need. Do you mean what sizes to make the  
partitions, or what programme to use?
If you use Windoze, then you could make a partition specific to it,  
then an 80 Gig to copy all your iBook stuff, then the remainder,  
which could be further divided for just data backup.
As to how, "Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility" will do a fine job  
of partitioning. HTH.
