Chances are that the monitor is toast, but if you could bring it over to 
my house we could check the cpu with one of my many Apple monitors. I'm 
pretty sure that the CI can't use PC monitors, but I also have the 
gizmos that convert the monitor plug & have a PC monitor to check it on.
