Running Disk Utility, I get a message in flaming red that there is an
"invalid B-tree node size".
At first, the partition on which the intractable system ( OS 10.4) is
installed didn't show at all. I ran TechTool and now it shows but in
grey, and TechTool did not repair it.
I decided to re-instal the System. That failed. The Installer disk did
not show the bad partition.
Is there a fix short of totally erasing that partition?
