[muglo] itunes and operating system 10.2.8

iTunes version 6 and operating system 10.2.8
Also running system 9.2.2 on a G4 machine

I purchased an album from itunes Canada. The files downloaded as mp4 files.
From within Itunes (version 6) when I click on the round Burn Disc button I
get the following message: "Disc burner or software not found". From
checking on the apple site I believe I can't upgrade version 10.2.8 any
further. I have to go to 10.3 (Tiger). Not sure I want to go there just yet.

I run Toast 5.1.3 and it seems to burn everything fine, but it doesn't
recognize mp4 files. Should I upgrade Toast or is there software out there
that I could download that would take the mp4 files and change them into a
format I could use and burn to a CD from Toast?
