Thanks, the profile helps a lot. Your iMac can take up to 2Gb, so I  
might put 2 x 1 Gb DIMMs in it. But I would check to see what is  
already in there first. The system profile has a section in it called  
Memory that shows which DIMM's are installed in which slots. If you've  
already have one 512Mb DIMM installed in one slot then an extra 1Gb  
DIMM would be more than enough in the second slot.
