I have not tried Net Flix but I understand that they mail you DVDs and
when you return them they send another from the list you submit to
them. The advantage is that they are cheaper to use for the frequent
renter but the iTunes advantage is that you can download the movie and
view it 24/7 assuming you have enough bandwidth to do it over a
reasonable time frame. I have never understood the appeal of Apple TV
but with this service it would make sense for people with a fast
enough web connection.
