With the eMAc I assume you are running OSX?  Pick the songs you 
want to burn then in the top right hand side of the Control panel 
bar for iTunes ther are the words "burn disk" click and it will 
start the process.  If you are in OS 9.x same thing.

Read up on creating a playlist and then use that to burn your CD. 
  Sorry I can't be more help.  I don't burn a lot of CDs and most 
of those are data not music so I rarely use iTunes.
