[muglo] Re: iBook and OSX

Hi Leith,
I have pretty much the same specs as you, mine is actually less!
My iBook came with 128 megs of RAM and when I could went and maxed my
RAM out. Apple originally said that the those iBooks could only go to
256 but people (myself included) found that they can go to beyond that.
So, I put in a 512 chip and with the original 64, gives me 576, and
noticed a *huge* difference. Tee is right - the mhz thing doesn't
matter as much as the RAM, 128 just allows you to get going with no
apps running. It really is the cheapest upgrade you can do.
When I went to OS X I have never looked back, there is still two apps
that I use that I have to boot into 9.
I highly recommend it, especially since you are using a digital camera,
iPhoto is a great companion for it.
